The Stick Pack Machines:
The stick packing machines are a full automatic flexible packaging machine. The machine formulate stick packs from a flat roll of film, while doing the filling simultaneously and sealing the filled pouches.
Reform stick pack machines can pack powders (3in1 coffee, milk powder, instant coffee, pudding, and other powders), granules (such as sugar, salt, black pepper and other granules), and liquid and paste products (such as ketchup, mayonnaise, shampoo, olive oil, honey and other liquids).
The filling of each type of product need a special filling system.
Filling systems:
1. The Volumetric Filling System:
Also called Gravimetric-filling system, it is a cylinder with small containers to contain the coming product from the feed reservoir (the hopper). The containers are placed beneath a filling nozzle and the pouches are filled with a precise weight.
To fill the precise weight with this filling system, the containers must be adjusted to the volume off the exact weight to be filled, for example if the target weight is 5 grams the diameter of the container must be adjusted to 6 grams.
The volumetric filling system is suitable for products that have the free flowing ability such as sugar, salt and other granules.
2. The Auger Filling System:
Designed to fill powders like instant coffee and other powders, the filler have hopper that contain the products to put it in the pouch with an auger, the augers are guided by a servomotor to give the target weight with high precision.
3. The Liquid Filling System:
Suitable for liquid and paste products such as ketchup, olive oil, mayonnaise, mustard, honey, this filler is a combination of: a hopper that contains the product, a piston that opens and closes the passage from the hopper to a small containers that receive the amount of the product to be filled, and a servomotor to inject the liquid in the pouches passing by the filling tubes.
